Crashing waves

Assignment to do a seascape. This and the mountainscape were great fun and I learned lots of great techniques to get those misty effects.

Mountainscape

From watercolor class. We had to do an alpine mountain landscape, which I really enjoyed.

Sketch

Just a sketch I did of Bushman the gorilla from the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.

Greek icons

The project here was to create a set of icons in a theme, so I chose Greek gods. This was another one of my favorite assignments.

Apple a day

The assignment was to illustrate a proverb or figure of speech and have fun with it. This was done in watercolor and ended up being one of my favorite projects.

Storyboards

These are storyboards for the film The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll, coming soon from Waterfoot Films. It's a film-noir retelling of Jekyll and Hyde set in a Neo-Victorian London.

Wedding illustrations

Some friends commissioned me to illustrate their love story, to be displayed at their wedding reception. These are some of the images. A very cool idea that I hope will become a fad :)

These are some variations of my redesign of the Shedd aquarium's logo for Fundamentals class. I ended up with the middle one on the left, because my teacher said swoops are overused.
